_ HOP ON BOARD THE NILE EXPLORER

The Nile Explorer is a colourful mobile American Space on wheels by the U.S. Embassy in Uganda and implemented by Open Space Center, bringing STEM, Health, and other educational enrichment to young people across Uganda.

the Nile Explorer Bus is aimed at extending education opportunities to underserved communities across 6 districts in Uganda; Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono, Rakai, Sembabule, Gulu and Amolatar.

The Bus is centred around opening up student’s minds to learning opportunities and careers in Science, Technology Engineering and Maths as well offering them a range of health information on health issues such as HIV, School-Related Gender-Based Violence, malaria among others.
